Project to Replace the UCP2 Reactors with the objective of replacing the current reactors of the Coke Unit 2 of the RPBC, with the installation of an automatic top and bottom opening system, condensed into the following main items:
- Replacement of current reactors with new equipment, to be supplied by PETROBRAS;
- Installation of automatic top and bottom valves, as well as control and automation systems and necessary infrastructure;
- Replacement of the top condenser (M-8402) by a new equipment (M-8434), of greater capacity;
- Installation of a captive cooling water system, with two new pumps (J-8465 A/B) and construction of a well next to the unit's cooling tower;
- Demolition and disassembly to remove the Acid Water Treatment Unit (UTAA) at UCP2, which is deactivated;
- Replacement of current trays with new high-performance ones in the N-8401 combined tower;
- Adaptation of nozzles on the top drum of the O-8401 combined tower;
- Adaptations in the relief systems of the furnaces and reactors of UCP2;
- Modifications to furnace-reactor transfer lines, fractionator reactors, blowdown reactors, and reactor drainage lines. Installation of new motorized valves;
- Intervention in the existing substation to adapt it to the new project loads;
- Adequacy in the automation and control systems of the unit, considering the changes introduced by the project.
